Your range of tasks:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in automating, optimizing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure to ensure maximum efficiency, reliability, and scalability. Your expertise in Terraform, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and cloud architecture will be vital as you work closely with our development and operations teams to support our continuous integration and deployment pipelines, maintain our micro-service architecture, and ensure high availability of our services.

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps YAML pipelines for seamless code integration and deployment processes
  • Manage and provision infrastructure as code using Terraform, ensuring best practices are followed for scalability and security
  • Maintain and enhance our micro-service and cloud-based architectures, focusing on high availability, disaster recovery, and efficient scaling
  • Implement and maintain Kubernetes clusters, ensuring optimal deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications
  • Utilize the Azure Service Bus for reliable message brokering between services in our microservice architecture
  • Employ the Kusto Query Language (KQL) for querying, analyzing, and monitoring application logs in Azure Application Insights, aiding in swift debugging and performance optimizations
  • Adopt GitOps workflows for infrastructure and application deployment, utilizing ArgoCD for consistent and reproducible deployments across environments
  • Ensure containerization best practices with Docker, including multi-stage builds, selecting appropriate base images, and writing efficient Dockerfiles

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps, including creating and managing YAML pipelines
  • Proven expertise in Azure cloud services and managing cloud-based architectures with a focus on high availability and disaster recovery strategies
  • Solid understanding of Terraform for infrastructure as code applications
  • Experience in maintaining and scaling micro-service architectures
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker, including container orchestration and optimization
  • Familiarity with the Azure Service Bus and Kusto Query Language (KQL)
  • Experience with GitOps flows and tools, particularly ArgoCD
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Strong communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical challenges and solutions to both technical and non-technical team members
